CLOVE BUD (Syzygium aromaticum) Has a sweet, spicy fragrance that is stimulating and revitalizing, with wonderful immune-enhancing properties, its principal constituent is eugenol. Clove is one of the highest-scoring single ingredient ever tested for its antioxidant capacity on the ORAC scale. Always dilute for topical use. Common Uses: Clove bud essential oil is an effective agent for minor pains and aches (particular dental pain), and is helpful when battling flus and colds.
